Google Living stories

1. The google living stories approach is different than new sources because it goes up right away and you dont have to pay for it. Most places make you pay if you want the whole story unless it is a newspaper article posted online.

2. I think there will always be bias in the news and this approach may make it alittle bit better but no i do not think it will stop the bias's

3. ive tried researching google living stories to the best of my abilities and so far i think that it is good, im not really sure what else could be added to make it better. I think that once google is finished with this project and i am able to see alittle more than i will be able to analyze it alittle better.

Social Bookmarking

Twitter.com
Reddit.com
Dig.com

1. Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to store, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web pages on the Internet
2. Businesses, teachers, students, parents, everyone!!!
3.It works by the users saving links to Web pages that they want to remember and/or share.
4. It is significant so you dont always have to remember the exact website you are looking for and you can just click on the link and it will save you alot of trouble.
5. It is becoming more and more popular as more people start using it
6. It can be used by teachers and students because when the teacher wants the students to go to certain sites, instead of writing them down or having to tell the students they can just have them click on the link and just save confusion
7. Social bookmarking is susceptible to corruption that may be introduced by users with an axe to grind, or a product to promote. Spammers sometimes try to bookmark a page many times, or tag it with popular but irrelevant tags, hoping to fool viewers and influence their search engine rankings.
8. It helps you organize things better, it is easier to understand, more people can use it and it is easy to use.

Black Friday

Some of the deals i found for black friday were
1. Sony Bravia 32" Class LCD HDTV, KDL-32L504
$398.00 at walmart
2.
Kodak EasyShare C190 Red 12MP Digital Camera Bundle with Case, Batteries & Charger
$ 85.00 at walmart
3. Ipod Shuffle
$50 at apple.com
4.Ipod touch
$199 at apple.com
5. Ed Hardy Comforter set
$99 at bed bath and beyond

I only researched five because these were the five that i was looking at i think that the pros and cons of online and in store shopping are if you are in the store you get to see the actual item you are buying, if it is clothing you can try it on or if it is something of color or size you have it right in front of you to look at. I think that If you are shopping online you dont have to go through the trouble of waiting in lines or beating people to the best deals. The cons of both of these are if you are in the store you get trampled on or fought with for items, you have to stand in long lines in hopes of getting a good price. If you are online you have to pay the outrageous shipping and handling prices and you dont get to try anything on, so if you dont like it you will have to return it in stores and hope that they have the same one in your size. The item might not be as big or as small as you thought also. I would much rather sleep in on black friday than go out in that craziness and shop.

Most stores open at midnight and the rest at 6am, they all have great deals and many of people lined up around the sides of the stores. This year we saw people with tents pitched outside of toys r us just to get a measly $10 off, when really i think sleeping in is much more worth than $10
